Introduction
These release notes cover PopMedNet version 5.0.3. Enhancements, bug fixes, and other changes are listed below.
A new desktop DataMart Client is not required.
Enhancements
Update | Description |

| Tobacco Use term* | A Tobacco Use term was added to the ESP Query Composer request type. This term allows users to restrict a cohort based on patients' tobacco use. Options include Current, Former, Never, Passive, and Not Available. The term queries the smoking column in the ESP_DEMOGRAPHIC table in the ESP: MDPHnet data model.

| PCORnet Task Order, Activity, and Activity Project fields | Values were added to the Task Order, Activity, and Activity Project request metadata fields for the PCORnet project in the PCORnet DRN. These values populate the metadata dropdown menu fields and, when selected by an investigator, appear in New Request Submitted notifications, the Request Details screen in the DataMart Client, Network Activity Reports, and results of Metadata Request Searches. The fields may also be used as search parameters in Metadata Request Searches. |
| "PCORnet CDM" in Organization and DataMart profiles | "PCORnet CDM" was added as an option to the Data Models section on the Organization profile page and as a supported data model option on the DataMart profile page. The value was also added to /wiki/spaces/DOC/pages/8880341 for Organizations and DataMart metadata. |
| DataMart Alphabetization | DataMarts are now listed in alphanumeric order on the request composition page. |
