Configuring Oracle Server Encryption

The Oracle client encrypted connection settings on both the 12c and 18c instances are both set as encryption ‘requested’

If you need to change that setting to be ‘required’ for a test, the file locations are as follows:

12c C:\app\virtual\product\12.2.0\dbhome_1\network\admin\sqlnet.ora

18c C:\App\WINDOWS.X64_180000_db_home\network\admin\sqlnet.ora
