Introduction

This update applies to all networks powered by the PopMedNet Release 4.x Software and includes enhancements and bug fixes to the PopMedNet software. This release includes updates to the PopMedNet Portal and the desktop DataMart Client. A new desktop DataMart Client update is available but is not required.

These release notes cover software versions 4.0.2 through 4.0.3. The enhancements and bug fixes are listed below.

After receiving the results of a Modular Program Distribution request, the system automatically locates and imports signature files. Information that is common across data partners is displayed on the Request Details page and in exports of Request Search results. Information specific to each data partner is also displayed in detailed exports of Request Search results.

New request metadata fields for Requester Center and Workplan Type*Portal - EnhancementNew fields for Requester Center and Workplan Type have been added to the request metadata header, These fields may also be used as Request Search parameters and appear in the exports of Request Search results.
Revised ESP Query Composer projection view column headers*Portal - Enhancement

The column headers of the projected results view of ESP Query Composer requests have been renamed and reordered for improved clarity. In addition, tip text describing each column header is available when users hover over the column header.

Improved Modular Program Distribution request results view and download all functionality*Portal - EnhancementWhen viewing results for Modular Program Distribution requests, files are now identified by DataMart and there is an option to download all files in a zip file.
Summary Table Sample Database removedPortal - Feature RemovedThe Summary Table Sample Database is no longer available in the Downloads panel of DataMart pages. The database may now be found on the PopMedNet wiki here.
