Turning Off SSO

Sometimes it is necessary to temporarily turn off redirection from PopMedNet Portal to the SSO site. This may be for simplifying the setup for purpose of debugging.

Instructions

To stop the PMN site from redirecting to the SSO site,  login to the server (both servers if in a cluster), go to the folder containing the Portal pages of your PMN site (e.g., QAtrunk/pmnqatrunkquerytool):

  1. Edit web.config (both if in a cluster)
  2. Clear out the values of the three SSO parameters. All three parameters starts with the prefix SSO and are grouped together.
  3. It does not require a restart.
