From the list of requests, double-click on a request or highlight it and click the Details button to open the Request Details view.
The "Overview" and "Description" tabs within the Request Details view display the metadata associated with the request. This information is common across all request types.
Network: the network from which the request was submitted.
Project: the project that the request was initiated from
DataMart: the name of your DataMart that received the request
Requester: the username of the Investigator who submitted the request
Request Time: the time at which the request was submitted
Email: the email of the requester who submitted the request
Purpose of Use*: the Purpose of Use code for the request
Level of PHI*: the level of PHI expected from the request
Level of Report Aggregation:* Represents the level at which data will be aggregated by in final reports
Task Order*: the task order budget item of the request
Activity*: the activity budget item of the request
Activity Project*: the project budget item of the request
Requester Center*: the center that the initial requester belongs to
Workplan Type*: the workplan type associated with the request
SubmittedTo: the DataMarts that the request was submitted to
Description (in "Description" tab): a description of the request and its purpose
Additional Instructions: additional request instructions from the requester to the DataMarts
* Select fields may not be populated on every PopMedNet network. Contact the requester or your PopMedNet Network Administrator for more information about the use of metadata fields in your network.
Note: For the Menu-Driven Query request type, any attachments associated with the request are located below the metadata information in the "Overview" tab.
Viewing Files
Navigate to the "Request Details" tab to view any request parameters/files associated with the request. See Request Types for more information on request parameters. Note that the files listed are stored on the Portal, not in your DataMart Client. You must save the file locally to transfer it from the Portal for viewing. Click the file name to download the file to your computer and select a location to save the file.
File Distribution Requests: "View Raw File(s)" is enabled by default.
Modular Program Distribution Requests: the default view displays the package manifest of the request, including the names of any files distributed with the request. The files may only be downloaded from the File View.
Other Requests: Other request types have an associated XML file containing the request parameters. Depending on the request type, an html or JSON file of the request parameters may also be available.
