Introduction
This update applies to all networks powered by the PopMedNetTM Release 3.x Software and includes enhancements and bug fixes to the PopMedNetTM software. This release includes updates to both the PopMedNetTM Portal and the DataMart Client.
A new DataMart Client update is required.
These release notes cover software versions 3.2.12 through 3.3.0. The enhancements and bug fixes are listed below.

Modular Program Distribution* | Portal – Feature | Enables users to distribute modular program packages and define the package manifest for the request. Files may be added to the request from the user’s local computer or from an external sFTP site. |
Organization and DataMart metadata capture | Portal – Feature | Enables organizations to describe their organization and DataMarts with a finer level of detail. |
Request Searching | Portal – Feature | Enables users to query the metadata of previously submitted requests. |
Data Checking Request Plugin* | Portal – Feature | Enables users to issue requests against the Mini-Sentinel data checking data model. The output Includes a variety of charts, graphs and reports to illustrate the data distribution in this model. |
DataMart Client exception handling | DataMart Client – Feature | A service that automatically detects exceptions and errors at the DataMart Client, records critical resolution handling information, and allows users to define the specificity of log information and to select where log reports are saved. |
MS SQL Server compatibility* | DataMart Client – Enhancement | The summary table request models are now Microsoft SQL Server compatible. |

Zip code stratification for ESP ICD-9 Diagnosis and Reportable Disease requests* | Portal – Enhancement | Enables stratification by zip code for ESP ICD-9 Diagnosis and Reportable Disease requests. |
| Delete files from DataMart Client response | DataMart Client - Bug | Files may now be deleted from the DataMart Client after they have been added in response to a file distribution request, but before the response is uploaded to the Portal. |
Held and reject messages upload to the Portal | Portal/DataMart Client – Bug | When a DataMart Administrator writes a message in the DataMart Client when holding or rejecting a message, these messages are now uploaded to the Portal for the requestor to view. |
Private draft requests | Portal – Bug | Fixes a bug where observers were able to view the draft requests of other users. Drafts are now only viewable by the user who created them. |
Accessing the second page of the organization list during registration | Portal – Bug | Fixes a bug where users could not navigate to page two of the organization list during registration. |
