Setting Up Debugging on DataMart Client

In order to properly diagnose any errors that occur while using the DataMart Client, it may be necessary to set up debugging mode. Enabling debugging on the DataMart Client produces a log file that can be shared with the PopMedNet team, providing useful insight into the issue. To set up debugging, please use the following steps:


          1. Open the DataMart Client, and Click the "About" link in the bottom right corner of the client.

               


          2. From the resulting window that opens, click the "Debug" button. This will bring you to the Debug window.

               


          3. In the Debug window, first select the "Log File Path". This specifies where the log file will be saved.

               


          4. Also in the Debug window, select "Debug" as the Log Level.

               


          5. Lastly, be sure to click "Okay" in the Debug window to save your settings.

               


After following these steps, you can run your query as normal and a log file for the DataMart Client will be produced at the designated file path.
