2021.1 Release - What's New
The content listed below is intended to highlight the updates applied to PopMedNet Query Tool and the DataMart Client.
What’s New:
PopMedNet 2021.1 Enhancements:
New Request - Investigator can now create multiple queries (Cohorts) or sub queries within one request
Request View - User can view results for multiple cohorts
Export – csv or excel files the data is captured and summarized by Cohort and DataMart
Improved layout and speed of the user interface when creating MDQ
Formatted for Higher Resolution DPI
Upgraded technology platform that includes Microsoft .NET 4.8
DataMart Client Enhancements:
Data Partner site can run and return results for multiple patients counts within a single request.
Request Detail - User Interface updated to display all subquery request
Request Response - Results are grouped by Cohort
Benefits:
PMN Query Tool will be able to manage high volume requests
Improved efficiency in creation and response time of MDQ queries. (i.e User can now submit multiple queries in a single response.)
Reduce the workload to submit and respond to these request
2021.1 Release enables PMN Team to check for “Active” accounts

Highlights
PopMedNet Query Tool - New Request:
Addition of “Multi-Query” checkbox for the user to designate if they are running a multi-query request type.
If “File Distribution” is selected as the Data Model, then the “Multi-Query” checkbox is disabled.
Addition of “+ Add Cohort” button allowing user to add multiple Cohorts with the same request.
Each Cohort functions as its own ambiguous request (sub query).
Note that at least one cohort must be entered.
The primary Cohort cannot be deleted from the request, however, any additional Cohorts added can be deleted by selecting “X”.
When naming the Cohorts ensure they all have a different Cohort Name. The application will not export the file if the names are the same.
The application currently has no set limit to the number of Cohorts that can be added.
Collapsible Content Panels – Query Composition Page
Collapsible content panels are used for each Cohort allowing the user to collapse, expand, and maximize a content area within the page.
When the panel is expanded the query composition page for the Cohort is displayed for the user to enter the information and criteria for the request.
Routing Request to DataMarts:
No changes- this is still at the overall request level, not at individual Cohort level.
Select DataMarts and then “Submit for Review”.
PopMedNet Query Tool - Request View:
Task: Request Review
The reviewer will now see all request by Cohort (subquery).
Collapsible content panels are used for each Cohort allowing the user to collapse, expand, and maximize a content area within the page.
When the panel is expanded the query composition page for the Cohort is displayed for the user to review the information.
No Change to the menu options: Approve or Reject
No Change to Comment, “Save Comment” request is submitted to network.
DataMart Client:
No change to the landing page table, user will see a row for each DataMart request.
Metadata has same interface as previously for Overview, Description, Request Details and Response Details.

The reviewer will now see the criteria for all Cohorts (subquery) on same page.
No change to the menu options: Run, Hold, Reject, or View SQL

Results are grouped by Cohort (subquery)
Stratification’s are displayed based on what was selected for each Cohort.
No Change to menu options: Add File, Delete File, Suppress Low Cells, Clear Cache, Export Results, Upload Results
PopMedNet Query Tool – Response Detail:
Task: Complete Distribution – No change to display
Completed Routings: User reviews and approve results in same way as before
View Results – will now display all Cohorts (subquery) for the request
No change to the menu options: Resubmit, Reject, Approve
No change to the menu option: No Comment or Save Comment
View Results - Aggregate View
Results are now displayed by Cohort (subquery)
Still can be downloaded to csv or excel
Results will export separate csv or excel file for each Cohort (subquery)

Results are now displayed by DataMart and Cohort (subquery) all on same page
Still can be downloaded to csv or excel
