Requests fail when the DataMart is set to run automatically

Problem

Requests fail when the DataMart is set to process new queries automatically.

Solution

This may happen when the DataMart Client forgets the database connection. To reconfigure the DataMart Client with the correct ODBC or pgAdmin connection follow these steps:

  1. Open settings in the DataMart Client
  2. Select your network from the list, and click 'Edit'
  3. Select the DataMart that was causing the issue and click 'Edit'
  4. Select the Data Model that was causing the issue and click 'Edit'
  5. Ensure any necessary Data Source fields are filled in correctly and are pointing to the correct database
  6. Repeat steps 4 and 5 for any remaining Data Models
  7. Manually run the queries

Some request types, such as file distribution requests, may not be run automatically because they require user intervention. If these requests fail, you may upload files as normal, but please contact your Network Administer who can change your DataMart settings to stop automatic processing of file distribution requests.
